Lay back, act natural, and let’s take some pictures
This isn’t about a photo session, or even the pictures, it’s about You. Forget about posing and feeling stiff in front of the camera. Imagine going on a walk with an old friend, who just happens to have a camera with them. My process is free and flowy, and my only goal is to capture your true self.

FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
1. Communicate Your Vision: Clearly communicate your vision and expectations to the photographer. Share any specific shots or poses you have in mind, as well as the mood or style you want to achieve.
2. Plan Outfits and Props: Coordinate outfits and accessories that complement each other and the overall theme of the shoot. Avoid busy patterns or logos that may distract from the main focus of the photos. If you're incorporating props, make sure they're relevant to the theme and enhance the visual storytelling.
3. Arrive Prepared: Arrive on time and ready for the shoot. If you're doing a portrait session, consider getting hair and makeup done professionally beforehand. Bring any necessary touch-up items like hairbrushes, makeup, or wardrobe changes.
4. **Trust the Photographer**: Once the shoot begins, trust the photographer's expertise and direction. They have the experience and creative eye to capture flattering and compelling images. Relax, be yourself, and enjoy the process.
5. Be Open to Suggestions: While it's important to communicate your preferences, be open to the photographer's suggestions and ideas. They may have insights or techniques that can enhance the quality of the photos.
6. Communicate Comfort Levels: If there are any poses or situations that make you uncomfortable, don't hesitate to speak up. A good photographer will respect your boundaries and adjust accordingly to ensure you feel relaxed and at ease throughout the shoot.
7. Have Fun and Be Yourself: Remember that photoshoots are meant to be enjoyable experiences! Relax, have fun, and let your personality shine through.
8. Review Images and Provide Feedback: After the shoot, take the time to review the images with the photographer. Provide feedback on your favorite shots and discuss any edits or adjustments you'd like to see. Collaboration is key to ensuring you're satisfied with the final results.
What should I wear?
1. Consider the Theme or Mood: Think about the overall theme or mood of the photoshoot. Are you going for a casual, relaxed vibe, or do you want something more formal and elegant? Choose outfits that reflect the desired aesthetic.
2. Avoid Busy Patterns and Logos: Busy patterns, stripes, and large logos can be distracting in photographs. Opt for solid colors or subtle patterns that won't compete with the main focus of the images.
3. Choose Flattering Silhouettes: Select outfits that flatter your body type and make you feel confident. Consider your body shape and choose silhouettes that accentuate your best features.
4. Accessorize Thoughtfully: Accessories can add interest and personality to your outfit, but avoid overdoing it. Choose a few key pieces like statement jewelry, scarves, or hats that complement your outfit without overwhelming it.
5. Dress for the Location: Take into account the location of the photoshoot when choosing your outfit. If you'll be outdoors in a natural setting, consider wearing earthy tones or casual attire. For indoor shoots, you may opt for more formal or fashionable outfits.
6. Layers and Textures: Adding layers and textures can add depth and visual interest to your outfit. Consider layering with jackets, cardigans, or scarves, and incorporate textures like denim, knitwear, or leather for added dimension.
7. Comfort is Key: Above all, prioritize comfort when choosing your outfit. You want to feel relaxed and at ease during the photoshoot, so avoid anything too tight, restrictive, or uncomfortable.
